The Foundation of Safe Balance...
Not all fall prevention programs and technology are the same! In fact, the overwhelming majority of these programs rely heavily on unsubstantiated measures and processes falling far short of the "best practice" design identified by regulatory bodies. Fall prevention programs and technology are marketed under a wide umbrella. However, very few are founded on CDC and CMS standards, and even fewer meet the "best practice" program design.
At Safe Balance, we dedicated ourselves to not only meeting these quality standards, but create a mechanism to deliver this "best practice" to providers in an automated and efficient manner. Safe Balance was built with these standards in mind as their proven success has been widely reported and verified to truly preventing a future fall.
See how Safe Balance is the BEST solution for your fall prevention and population management programming!

MIPS 318: Screening for Future Falls and MIPS 155: Falls Plan of Care are two of the standards set by CMS regarding fall prevention. A single Safe Balance assessment meets both of these criteria.

The RAND study (2003) is a systematic review that examined the most effective fall prevention programs in the Medicare population and identified a multifactorial falls risk assessment to intervention plan as the most effective. The Safe Balance program is designed based on these identified processes and criteria.
